Well... I must say first that I did not write this today.. I am just uploading it today. So, dont think its my present state of mind.... Here we go..
Today when I write, my eyes are wet.
And life seems to me, as hard as it can get.
But still I think I have some time left.
And that last moment hasn't arrived as yet.
Then why am I sad, when I should be happy.
And grateful to the God who wants me happy.
Why am I lost in thoughts of the past?
When I should be cheerful, I am aghast.
But what can I do, probably this is nature.
Its for the first time, that I am afraid.
Till now I have had her love's shade.
But for how long, as the rain is now seeping through.
And the skies are gray when I want them to be blue.
What can I do, probably this is nature.
And I know, this rain today will be going tomorrow.
Leaving a green earth with a season of sorrow.
As it turns barren in the wait of another shower.
It never loses hope even when it has no power.
And one day, the wait ends with thunder and light.
And the cracked baked earth again turns bright.
Its always like this and this probably is nature.
All this passes me by, telling me on the way.
That you may be parting with your love today.
And life may seem barren in a very long wait.
But believe in God as He is great.
And never lose hope however hard things may be.
As he will make sure your story ends happily.
It has to be like this always, as this is nature.

The River..
Standing on the bridge, watching the river flowing,
Wondering where I've come from and where am I going.
Closing my eyes, I take a trip down the memory lane,
Reliving those moments again, once lived by Nikhil Jain.
The river reminds me how much water has already flown.
How I left for a different place and how to an entirely different place I've gone.
How life has been full of surprises,
A tale of achievements, a fable of crisis.
From where I stand, I see a boat crossing.
Due to strong winds, is turning and tossing.
Oh! How it reminds me of my own life.
Of my own struggle, my own valiant fight.
A battle I fought with my own self.
A battle where I was my own enemy myself.
Reminds me of a time I want to forget or what.
A time that surely has taught me a lot.
The river is brown, wide and slow and tells me that.
Its easy to forget the past, but a man lives with that.
Its needed to walk even the streets that are unlit.
And when the past becomes too much, its ok to even overflow a bit.
But things get back to normal after the flood.
After the deluge, you celebrate even the appearance of a bud.
And soon, the flashback is over and I realize that I am in the present again.
That I've lived on despite the tiredness and pain.
That the quest takes its direction, wherever you choose to go.
That despite the continuous work of thousands of years, the river continues to flow!
Wondering where I've come from and where am I going.
Closing my eyes, I take a trip down the memory lane,
Reliving those moments again, once lived by Nikhil Jain.
